The association from which it all started. With the establishment of this association, cycling and outdoor activities in our country have taken an upward trajectory. Today, we are very proud of all the wonderful work we have done and with positive energy we move on to new campaigns and projects. Cycling promotion association “Herzegovina Bike” develops the project of making Herzegovina best cycling destination for turists.

Through the “Cycling Rural” project, we have developed over 2,000 km of cycling trails, as well as the entire cyclo-tourism infrastructure in the western part of Herzegovina. From this project, many great trails have emerged that connect some of the most beautiful parts of Herzegovina. We are extremely proud of the work we have done through this project.

Since 2016, we have been actively participating in the Bike Friendly business standardization project. Bike Friendly is a commonly known synonym for bicycle-friendly services. Facilities marked with Bike Friendly are objects / services / attractions, etc., which meet minimum standards adapted to cyclotourists and their needs, i.e. subjects recognized by their efforts to create a comfortable environment for cyclotourists.

We are the organizers of the largest Bike Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Blidinje BIKE Festival has been organized for 6 years in a row, and the location of this three-day event is the Blidinje Nature Park. It is an event that brings together professional cyclists, recreational cyclists and the whole family in one place. Thousands of people who attended this event have only words of praise for the organization.

We directly participated in the realization of this great and excellent project that is today recognized around the world. Big World media such as the “The Guardian”, “New York Times”, as well as the “The Lonely Planet” wrote about the Ciro Trail. Narrow gauge railway in Herzegovina/ Dubrovnik regions was built in the early 20th century, and connected Mostar with Dubrovnik. Now this is Cycling Trail.

In 2021, we hosted the UCI Granfondo World Cup! It is no small thing to host a world-class event, especially for a small country like Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our Team was directly involved in the organizing committee of this event, which presented Bosnia and Herzegovina to the whole World as an excellent cyclo-tourist destination.
