From its source in Pec-Mlini to its confluence with the Neretva River, Hercegovina’s Trebizat is 51 kilometers long. It is an underground river and the only river in Europe that repeatedly disappears into the ground only to resurface again, as many as nine times. This winding river with nine names, with pure and clear water and easy rapids, will be best experienced on a canoeing safari, an interesting tourist attraction .
At the outset of this incredible journey, the river is slow-moving and peaceful. As you get closer to the end, it becomes fast-flowing and exciting. During summer months, the water temperature is at about 20 degrees Celsius, which makes it ideal for people sensitive to temperature variations. There is almost no age limit for participation in the safari, which makes it suitable for those looking for an adrenalin rush, just as it is for those looking for an opportunity to relax and become one with nature.

- Duration: 7 days
- The tours are organized from April to November and it is possible to choose any day of the week as a starting day for your adventure.
- Accommodation is provided in private apartments near the Trebižat River and in the “Park” motel while in Hutovo Blato nature park. Camping is also possible in each location.
- We also provide camping equipment – tents for 4 to 6 persons and sleeping bags.
- The price also includes two meals per day.
- Excursions are organized for groups of 2 to 10 persons and participants must be at least 12 years old.
- A guide and equipment are provided for all activities. Canoeing equipment include two-seater inflatable boats, two-bladed paddles, vests, helmets, water-proof bags and neoprene suits and footwear. For stand up paddleboarding excursions SUPs, paddles, vests, wet suits and footwear are provided.
