Since 1988
Our story dates back to 1988 when we were among the first in Herzegovina to open a “wedding salon.” We opened the doors to our current restaurant in 1994. Our passion for cuisine began in Germany, where Rudo and Veronika gained extensive experience working in numerous restaurant kitchens, bringing their acquired knowledge to their small hometown.
The name “Kod Barića” incorporates the owner’s surname and warmly invites guests to gather and enjoy a meal at our table. From the start, we have been preparing traditional dishes that have remained on our menu throughout the years. By honoring the tradition and history of our region, we believe that our food becomes a part of the local culture and expression.
With renovations and innovations over the decades, our guests have confidently supported our progress and served as a springboard for future projects. In 2023, we realized our long-standing idea of opening a hotel within the restaurant premises.
