Starting with a coastal descent to Herceg Novi, the route winds around the world-famous Bay of Kotor, explores the upscale charm of Luštica Bay, and tackles the iconic serpentine climb into Lovćen National Park. From the historic royal capital of Cetinje, riders descend toward the serene waters of Lake Skadar and Rijeka Crnojevića before completing their journey in Podgorica. Day 1: Arrival in Trebinje – Gateway to the Adriatic Hinterland
Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport (Croatia), your driver will meet you for a smooth transfer across the border to Trebinje, where you will check in at the bike-friendly hotel located in the heart of the town.
After settling in, enjoy an optional guided walk through Trebinje’s charming Old Town, admiring its Mediterranean stone architecture, centuries-old plane trees, and historic landmarks. In the evening, gather with your guides and fellow riders for an introductory briefing and bike fitting to prepare for the exciting stages ahead.

Your first riding day begins with a gentle cycle through the charming streets of Trebinje toward the historic Tvrdoš Monastery, famous for its 15th-century wine cellars and rich cultural heritage. After a short visit, join the historic Ćiro Railway Trail, tracing the old narrow-gauge train route toward the Croatian border.
Crossing into coastal Croatia, you will branch off near Dubrovnik to ride along quiet village roads through the scenic Konavle valley. The morning stage concludes in the village of Gruda, where you will stop for a delicious local lunch at Koraćeva kuća.

Enjoy a gentle ride with stunning sea views as you pass through charming coastal villages and historic stone settlements. We rate our tours from Level 1 (Leisure) to Level 4 (Epic). Each tour contains a description of the level, expected daily ride time, distance and elevation. If you have any doubts we’re more that happy to speak to you on the phone and help to find you the perfect trip!
We recommend that you hire a bike for your tour and will work with you after you book to help you to choose the best size and model for your ride style. If you prefer to bring your bike, it’s no problem. Please be aware that on some of our epic trips we charge a supplement to transport your bike box to our finishing location. If you have any doubts, please ask!
Insurance is not included in our tour packages. We highly recommend contracting travel insurance at the time of reservation with a company from where you are from.
Health insurance which covers you for illness or injury whilst cycling in your chosen destination is mandatory, we’ll ask you for details of your insurance provider before you travel.
