We’ll meet at 8:30 a.m. in Mostar (Franciscan Church), but we are also open for hotel pickup and drop-off. After gathering and getting to know each other, we will head to the old town to tour our first destination – the Old Bridge.

Immortalized on the flag and coat of arms of the city, the Old Bridge has been the center of life in Mostar since its construction in the 16th century. Almost as legendary as the bridge itself is the photograph of jumpers jumping from a bridge from a height of 27 meters into the crystal clear water of the icy Neretva River.

This bridge, just like the Old Town, is under UNESCO protection, and is often cited as one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. The shape of the bridge itself also has its own story, it is said that it represents life… that the bridge itself represents one half of the circle, and its reflection in the water is the other half of the circle, and that whole picture represents life. He is the stage on which the young men from Mostar jump into the Neretva to prove their courage in a kind of maturity exam. The tradition of jumping is 451 years old.

And when they run and jump off the bridge, they fall down into the river and fly in the air like birds doing each one some special kind of acrobatics. Some jump steeply, others sitting with tools, and some jump into the water in pairs, threes and immediately happily go ashore climbing the rocks, and come up to the end of the bridge and receive the gifts of the vizier and champion – wrote the famous travel writer Evliya lebelebi, observing in Mostar jumps from the Old Bridge.

This place, near Mostar, has been known for centuries as an oasis of peace and natural harmony and another proof of the natural beauty of BiH.

Blagaj is located only 12 km south of Mostar. Due to the proximity of the Adriatic Sea and low altitude, the climate is Mediterranean. In the peace of the Tekke courtyard, cooled by the freshness of the fairy-tale Buna, you understand why Blagaj was the center of interest of Roman nobles, Ottoman viziers and caddies, Austro-Hungarian officers and many occasional travelers eager for spring freshness, warmth of sun and blue sky. Blagaj has an extremely large number of sunny days, almost 200. Therefore, it is not surprising that about 170 species of birds find habitat in this area. Ecologically clean and cold Buna, whose source is one of the strongest in Europe, is ideal for growing world-famous trout. Mediterranean fruits thrive on fruits: grapes, figs, peaches, apricots, pomegranates, kiwis…

One of the most attractive and most interesting destinations for tourists in Blagaj is certainly the Dervish tekke, then the Old Tower – Stjepan grad, Velagića complex… The whole ambience exudes untouched nature and old customs. Only a few areas can boast of the beauty that Blagaj offers. A large number of tourists return to this place every year.

In the Neretva valley, the main stronghold in the defense against the Turks was in Počitelj. This fortress was built by King Tvrtko in 1383, and played a strategic role in controlling the way to the sea through the Neretva river valley. Today, the historic town of Pocitelj, built under the fortress, has an oriental appearance and as such is entirely in the function of tourism and cultural events.
This unique settlement is included on the UNESCO list.

Although the town was first mentioned in written documents in 1444, it is assumed that it was built by the Bosnian king Tvrtko in 1383. This medieval town had a Mediterranean look, but after the Turkish conquest it was orientally remodeled. The mixture of these two architectural styles gives Počitelj a special dimension.
Apart from the extraordinary oriental architecture and the Ottoman “trick”, Počitelj is interesting and known as the host of an art colony with the longest tradition in Southeast Europe.

Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić called it “City of Stone”.

The most attractive locality on Trebižat is the Kravica waterfall, three kilometers downstream from Vitaljina in Studenci near Ljubuški. It was created by the work of the travertine river Trebižat, so as a natural phenomenon it is under state protection as a natural rarity.

The height of the waterfall ranges from 26 to 28 meters, with a water amphitheater below the waterfall with a diameter of 120 meters. Grass, moss and lichens grew over the travertine layer from the bottom to the top of the waterfall. Hemp, figs and poplars sprouted along the waterfall. Numerous mills and cloth-rolling pillars used to be active along the waterfall.

You will be driven to the top of the hill Hum above Mostar for great panoramic views of the city so that your guide can explain you about the geography of the area and show you a lot of spots that we would visit during the tour. Limestone hills, small fertile pockets of land following the river flows, flocks of sheep and goats grazing and endless fields of vineyards will capture your imagination instantaneously.

Medjugorje – Experience one of the most famous shrines in Europe.

In 1981, Medjugorje became the most famous and most visited pilgrimage shrine in this region after the apparition of Our Lady on June 24, 1981. a group of Medjugorje children. Our Lady’s mission was to send a message of peace and love to the world, and Medjugorje is becoming known as a place of peace and beauty. Since then, Medjugorje has become the third most important place of apparitions in Europe, visited by more than a million people every year.

Medjugorje (means a place between the mountains) – a small village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in its southern part near the towns of Citluk and Mostar and the border with Croatia.
