Rated 3 out of 4 our Advanced tours are designed for people who ride regularly and want back to back challenging days on the bike. Riders should be confident riding in a small group, comfortable on extended climbs (at your own pace) and have good bike handling skills on corners and descents. E-bikes are available on all of our tours.

After breakfast, the adventure begins as you ride from Mostar toward the mountains of Western Herzegovina. Your first stop is Široki Brijeg, where you’ll visit the Franciscan Monastery, its museum, and renowned art gallery.
The route continues with steady climbs through rugged karst landscapes toward Blidinje Nature Park. This is the most demanding day in terms of elevation, but entering the park rewards you with stunning views, fresh mountain air, and wide alpine meadows.

We start the day amidst the serene landscapes of Blidinje Nature Park and cycle towards the stunning Rama Lake. The first 30 km is an enjoyable descent to Jablanica, riding alongside the picturesque Jablanica Lake. Take a break here for a picnic and to soak in the beautiful scenery.
Afterward, we continue with a gradual climb to Prozor-Rama, home to the deep blue Rama Lake, surrounded by the Raduša, Makljen, Ljubuša, and Vran mountains. We explore the Franciscan Monastery and Museum on the Šćit Peninsula, a cultural and spiritual treasure offering insights into the region’s history, traditions, and natural heritage.
The day ends with a hearty dinner featuring local specialties and an overnight stay at Rama-Šćit Monastery, where you can rest and reflect on the day’s journey.

After breakfast, we leave the peaceful Rama-Šćit Peninsula and begin our ride toward Gornji Vakuf–Uskoplje, passing through scenic valleys and traditional Bosnian towns. A short stop in Bugojno offers time to rest and enjoy the local atmosphere before continuing north.
The final stretch leads us to Jajce — a royal medieval town known for its iconic waterfall, fortress, and rich history. Here we visit the Franciscan church and museum, an important spiritual and cultural center preserving the heritage of the region.
The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Jajce, a town where nature, history, and faith beautifully intertwine.

This day has no monastery visits — instead, it’s all about nature, culture, and local flavours. Along the route, you’ll have the chance to sample traditional Bosnian dishes and experience the warm hospitality of the region.

We’ll welcome you at the start of your tour, walk you through the week ahead, and make sure you have everything you need for an unforgettable ride.
Each guest receives a Navigation Pack and a Garmin device, including GPX routes, route descriptions, hotel details, and our recommended stops along the way and in the evenings. You may also choose to navigate using your own phone via the Ride with GPS application.
On a self-guided tour, we take care of your luggage, and hotel-to-hotel transfers are available (subject to additional charges). We also provide a local SIM card with 10 GB of data and a support contact number for the duration of your trip, ensuring assistance whenever you need it.
We recommend that guests know how to fix a puncture and perform basic roadside bike repairs to fully enjoy a self-guided tour.

We rate our tours from Level 1 (Leisure) to Level 4 (Epic). Each tour contains a description of the level, expected daily ride time, distance and elevation. If you have any doubts we’re more that happy to speak to you on the phone and help to find you the perfect trip!
We recommend that you hire a bike for your tour and will work with you after you book to help you to choose the best size and model for your ride style. If you prefer to bring your bike, it’s no problem. Please be aware that on some of our epic trips we charge a supplement to transport your bike box to our finishing location. If you have any doubts, please ask!
Insurance is not included in our tour packages. We highly recommend contracting travel insurance at the time of reservation with a company from where you are from.
Health insurance which covers you for illness or injury whilst cycling in your chosen destination is mandatory, we’ll ask you for details of your insurance provider before you travel.
